New Muzik

Spring is in the air and the tunes are banging through the speakers.

I've been listening to more music for the last two months. Since I got back from snowboarding at Spindleruv Mlyn in the Czech Republic i've been playing catch-up with the business. The benefit to being busy is I get to listen to more music while I work. Most of the time its mixtapes or the Real Hip-Hop Show by my man DJ Modesty. In between that I try listening to new albums, while packing for my trip to Spain in a few days.

The videos below are from artists from across the map, who got flow and delivery. Supastition, is a North Carolina MC who has a lengthy catalog of dope music. Vado, is a Harlem MC that's been putting in work for a minute. He has a series named Slime Flu that recently released the 4th mixtape. CyHi The Prynce, is from the ATL. He has a east coast flow with a southern accent. I like the way he puts together metaphors. His content is militant, modern day, Black Panther music. Then there's veteran R-Kitech, bringing listeners back to the basics. Last is super group The Lox coming with a heavy street anthem for the whole NYC.

New Muzik

Whats good People,

This has been a busy month so I haven't had the chance to post. My new video "Wanna Sound Like Me" gets released next week, so check back for it. In the meantime I posted some New Muzik below from mostly 90's artists still making moves.

The new song "86 Remix" by Raekwon featuring AZ has a dope throwback vibe, plus the rhymes are on point. Its been a while since I heard a track with AZ, he used be compared to Nas all the time. They were both sick with the flow but Nas had better exposure and a bigger budget.

Beside Raekwon, there's also music from Java Starr, Cap 1, Vado and Murs. Check it out.

Java Starr Ft. Scarface - My City

Raekwon (Feat. AZ & Altrina Renee) - 86 (Remix)

Cap 1 - Testimony

Murs & 9th Wonder - What Up Tho

Vado - Right Now

The New Breed

There's a whole New Breed of MC's hungry for recognition. The industry goes through phases every couple of years like fashion trends. There was the DMX, 50 Cent hardcore Hip-Hop era then it went to the Kanye West, Mickey Facts  pink clothes, tight jean wearing, stuff animal on the backpack phase. Now the winds of change are blowing it back towards the hardcore.

Below are rappers Vado, Skyzoo, Black Milk, Q-Unique, and Ras Kass. They each have a different sound and style but the one thing the have in common is they're all spittin gangsta sh*t.
