What's Poppin People,
Today is New Muzik Monday! My new single "All I Want" gets released next week. The song details some of the hardships I've experienced in my personal life. It also discusses things I want from a relationship. A girl slash friend of mine once said, there is no perfect romance. Everybody is going through life looking for someone just as f**ked-up as they are so they can be happy together.
As odd as it sounds I have found her words to be quite true. I don't believe there's a perfect person for anyone. I do believe there is someone who is just as crazy, chaotic and creative as I am. Once I find her we can build upon that foundation.
The song "All I Want" is the first single from my new album Underground Artist Major Threat. It features soul singer and producer Tone Jonez on the chorus. This song has more of an R&B and soul vibe than my usual rap tunes. Each verse details desires and experiences that anybody whose fallen in love can relate too. It comes just in time for St. Valentines Day.
Once the song has been posted on digital platforms (which is next week) I will post a buy link. For now, you can listen to it below.
Greetings and Salutations,
To all my music lovers world-wide...It's New Muzik Monday!
The song for this week is a mix of EDM (Electronic Dance Music) and Hip-Hop. It's called Higher Ground Flow. The title comes from the track Higher Ground by Hudson Mohawke x Lunice. I love the original song! Much respect to Hudson Mohawke x Lunice for making a versatile club banger for me to flow to. I used to listen to it while working out in the gym. Back then I would think how dope the tune would be if it had an emcee spitting a few verses. I decided to take up the challenge.
Originally the song was recorded for my mixtape "Kingdom of Shadows." I stopped working on the mixtape to finish recording the album. The mixtape was an eclectic mix of hardcore Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, and two dance tracks. Higher Ground was one of those dance tracks. Since the mixtape is on hold for the immediate future perhaps it will be release one of these Monday's at a later date. Higher Ground Flow, is forty-eight bars of hard rhymes over a banging EDM tune.
Check out the song if you like it tell a friend to tell a friend. if you hate it tell everyone to listen and critique how terrible the music is. Whether you're a fan or a hater...take a listen. I'm already cooking up hot tunes for next week. Until then, Peace and keep listening.
What's Good blog readers! I would like to welcome you all to New Muzik Monday!!!
I'm sure someone out there is wondering what is New Muzik Monday? Let me break it down for you. Every Monday for the next few weeks I will post a new unreleased song from my upcoming album Underground Artist Major Threat ... or a side project.
I've been heavy in the studio for the last few months in between traveling and taking care of company business. Speaking of business, the www.tygervinum.com website has been completely remade and updated. Why don't you do yourself a favor and go check it out. There's new clothing, hats, music, videos, paintings, books...and everything else. The only thing missing is the kitchen sink.
Now that the business is back to running like a locomotive on a well-oiled track. I've been creating new tunes for the upcoming album and creating more art. There has been some internal debating on whether or not to make this my last album. It all depends on how I feel after the project is complete. Music is my first love but art is a close second. What you can expect from this project is a mix of smooth R&B infused tracks and some hardcore neck-snapping heavy lyrical Hip-Hop bangers. The album will have something for Hip-Hop purist, backpackers, and everyone in between.

This week's track is "We Elevate" featuring Young Gun and Pacewon. Young Gun and I go way back. We have several collaborations on Tha Audio Bully (Trick or Treat and If You) album and a few yet to be released songs. Young Gun is a fire spitter from Cleveland, Ohio. Pacewon is a member of New Jersey group the Outsidaz. They were a music collective that worked with the Fugees, D12, Eminem, and were affiliated with Wyclef's Refugee Camp.
Check out the new music. If you like the tune drop a comment or share it with a friend. If you don't like it ... share it anyway and tell people how much you dislike it. Love it or hate it, as long as you're listening to the music it's all good. Plus there will be a new track next week. Keep checking every week and I guarantee one of these many weeks i'll drop a tune you do like. Until then Peace!
