Banksy in Amsterdam

One of my favorite modern visual artists has come to Amsterdam...Banksy! If you're unfamiliar with Banksy here's what I know. He is originally from the UK. He makes grafitti, stencil art, sculptures, and directs movies. His identity is currently a mystery and he has an exhibition here in Amsterdam from July 18th - September 30th.  

To my knowledge Banksy doesn't reproduce or sell any of his creations. Most feature satirical images of war and instruments of violence. He uses humor and amazing visuals to get people talking about subjects that are often considered taboo. His unique style has achieved international success. Below are some Banksy images I shot by Centraal Station mixed with a few favorites I found on google. Big Bank Takes Little Bank

There's a new trend in America that's becoming increasingly popular with law enforcement. It's similar to a game children play called "Big Bank Takes Little Bank."

The kids game is simple, two kids bet who has the most money in their pockets. Both kids empty their pockets and who ever has the most money wins, and takes the other persons money. In the kids game after the big bank (person with more money) takes the little bank (person with less money) sometimes they give the money back.

In the adult version of the game the rules are different. The big bank is law enforcement and the little bank is YOU. There's a law called Civil Asset Forfeiture which allows police to take your money, house, car and property without any evidence of a crime. 

The law was created back in the 80's to stop big drug dealers from profiting from their illegal activities. Currently the law is being abused to steal from people during routine traffic stops on the highway. There are numerous reports from across the country of people being straight-up robbed by (gun carrying) police officers. 

Not everyone is taking this illegal abuse quietly. The few who have fought back have found that it's a difficult battle. There are two results when citizens have legally attempted to retrieve their stolen money. 

First the bad result. To avoid going to court the police offer a settlement of 50% of your lost earnings. That way you don't lose everything, even though the money was yours legally to begin with. 

Now the worse result. You go to court and by some divine act actually win the case. The results are almost the identical. You automatically lose 30% in court fees and taxes. Add on attorney fees and whatever other costs were accrued during the legal proceedings and the loss is close to half.

There are a lot of videos on youtube with people telling sad stories about how the cops took their money. Don't be one of those people. The more educated you are on the law the easier it is to defend yourself. I don't know anyone who can afford to lose a few thousand dollars...on nothing. (food for thought)

Big Brother is Watching

The ARGUS-IS (Autonomous Real-Time Ground Ubiquitous Surveillance Imaging System). is the next step in high imaging surveillance. It’s a 1.8 Gigapixel (which translates into 1.8 billion pixels), super camera created for complete surveillance in an area the size of a city. It’s the world’s most advanced high resolution camera.

The Argus is carried by a UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) and performs whats called “wide area persistent stare”. This surveillance is the equivalent to having 100 predator UAV’s survey an area the size of a mid-sized city at once. It’s so precise it can clearly show the details of a vehicle license plate or a person’s facial features from 17,500 feet.

What makes the Argus so incredible isn’t the high image resolution pictures...it's what they can do with the video footage. Watch the video below to learn more about the Argus and its surveillance capabilities…because big brother IS watching. 

Random Sh*t

Like the title says, this post is about some random shit that recently happened. If you came to read something scientific or musical...wait for the next post. 

So I just came back from seeing the movie World War Z. It's one of the movies on my waiting to watch list. The movie was spectacular, which is a description I rarely use to describe a film. The plot was realistic, the action was fast paced and the zombies were more of a bit player in the whole film. 

The scary part of the film was how easy a pathogen could spread globally and decimate the population. We now have the technology to reanimate the dead and viruses like H1N1 and Ebola in government facilities. The movie just played that "what if" out in a realistic way but still with zombies to give it a horror twist. If you like zombie movies with a good plot then I recommend watching it. 

Before the movie I had to go to the restroom. While I was in the restroom washing my hands a man came tumbling out of a stall screaming and fell to the floor. I gotta say... it was one of the funniest things I've seen in my life.  Okay wait, let me back up and elaborate. 

I'm standing in the theater restroom where there are a row of urinals against the wall behind me.  There's a row of  sinks to wash your hands in the middle where I was standing. Then a row of toilets against the wall in front of me. To my right there are more urinals on the right wall and the exit is to the left. Inside the restroom there were two other guys. One was standing to my left at the end of the row of sinks using the electric hand dryer to dry his hands. The second was to my right using the urinals at the far right wall with his back towards me. 

As I stated earlier...while I was washing my hands a man fell out of the toilets in front of me. His pants and underwear were around his ankles and he was screaming like a woman, that something had touched him. I was startled by the man's comical dismount from the toilet and almost started to laugh until I saw how serious he was. The man smelled like he was in the middle of doing his business before what ever made him get off the pot.

Once the man fell out the toilet stall, I looked to my right and the guy standing at the urinal had started walking over to see what was happening. I looked to the left and the other guy was gone...all I saw was the door finish closing. The man on the floor at this point was no longer screaming but he was babbling in barely intelligible Dutch about something touching him. The man from the urinal had now made it over to the man from the stall, then helped him up and asked what happened. 

The man from the stall pointed to the empty toilet stall and said something touched him while he was shitting. The stall was empty except for the visitors the man on the floor had left in the bowl. The urinal guy looked at me as if to say... is he crazy. I shrugged my shoulders and began walking toward the exit. The urinal guy went into the stall to investigate and I was almost at the exit when I heard him yell out "Jesus". 

Now I was curious, cuz the urinal guy didn't seem crazy in the brief two minutes we had been acquainted. So I turned around and walked back to where I had been standing on the opposite side of the sinks and looked into the stall. The man from the stall was standing to the side with his pants half pulled up pointing at the toilet. The urinal guy had stepped back out the stall and began walking towards the exit saying he was going to get somebody. 

In front of me the toilet seat had been lifted and on the underside was a big brown spider. It wasn't huge or even menacing, it was about the size of a pencil eraser. If the man seen that spider on the street he would've probably squished it without a second thought. But even that small arachnid found in the most inopportune places could give a person the fright of their life.

I left the bathroom and headed to the movie thinking there should be two rules to using a toilet in a public restroom. It doesn't matter if its a bar, nightclub, movie theater, library, restaurant or where ever. 

Whenever using a public toilet, follow these two rules. 1. Cover the seat in tissue (unless they provide paper seat covers), and 2. Always lift the toilet seat to make sure there aren't any insects or other vermin. Because finding a spider under your ass can make a 40 something year old man...weep like a two year old who lost their mommy. (food for thought) 

How to Make an Assualt Rifle with a 3D Printer

I’m a big fan of the new 3D printers. Three D printing is the process of making a three-dimensional solid object of virtually any shape from a digital model. If you’ve never heard of a 3D printer Google it, because they’re awesome. You can print plates, forks, whistles and all types of items. It’s estimated that within the next decade most homes will have a 3D printer.

The technology that promised to revolutionize how we view printing, has achieved that goal. Although not how the inventors imagined it. Cody Wilson, a 24 year old Law student, is an self proclaimed anarchist and strong supporter for the production of firearms using 3D printing technology. Below is a Documentary on how Cody and his partner create a working receiver (which is the only part of the firearm regulated by the government) using a 3D printer.

With all the debate over gun laws this documentary really opens the worlds eyes. Cody makes the point that regulating firearms won’t stop people from making them, or terrorists from killing. If the terrorist wanted to kill people and didn’t have a gun they could use a car. Then what? Would there be a nationwide ban on SUV’s? The man makes sense and is a highly controversial figure on both sides of the gun control issue.

Media Blackout

Someone recently wrote to me after reading the Free Energy post and stated. "Thanks to the internet we are living in the technological age, so its not possible for information to be suppressed." I present exhibit "A" the media blackout that's happening right now. 

The video below will bother most readers. It is a description right out of George Orwell’s book 1984. Where the government controls every aspect of media communication by surveillance of technology like cameras, computers and cell phones. This is a direct attack on your civil liberties.

Apple the maker of the iPhone, iPad, and an endless range of computers, signed a deal that will allow a third party to disable the use of your cell phone. This means that if you were a witness to some crime committed against protesters or peaceful people at a rally, your camera could be disabled so there is no digital data to prove the crime. It’s said that a picture is worth a thousand words so now Apple is going to silence the conversation. Apple claims the contract was made so people couldn’t tape concerts or other social events that may infringe on property rights. That's a lie because the contract covers everything but that. 

The contract details how a third party will turn off cell phone capabilities (not just the camera) in areas they deem security risks. Meaning they cause a media blackout by blocking the cell phone camera, calling and audio capabilities in a particular area. Per se five miles in every direction so the people in the blacked out area can have no digital witness. There is no reason in free society for this type of oversight. It's disturbing and after watching the video below… you will see why.

Free Energy

Contrary to what's you've read or been told, mankind has successfully developed self-sustaining energy devices. They're not in development or just ideas on a chalk board, these are functioning, environmentally safe, devices ready to benefit society. This post isn't to convert your mind to give up gasoline and start driving an electric car. I'm just passing on information that could change the way you view our energy crisis.

The first person to discover free energy, also known as zero point energy, cosmic energy or currently new energy, was Nikola Tesla. Tesla was a genius, inventor, physicist, and futurist whose inventions and research are still being used today. In 1901 Tesla discovered there was a natural energy field in the universe that could be harnessed to generate an endless supply of energy.

Tesla created the Wardenclyffe Tower also known as the Tesla Tower for commercial wireless, broadcasting, and power transmission. He proved that with a few Tesla Towers placed around the globe, mankind would no longer need expensive, inefficient telephone lines and cables. His investor at that time was J.P. Morgan the main supplier of the copper being used in telephone lines and cables. If those Towers were put to use J.P. Morgan would've lost millions of dollars. Once Tesla proved his tower worked, his lab was burned to the ground and research destroyed.

Since Tesla's time, numerous inventors have rediscovered the same free energy field and designed machines to harness it. The reason you and most of the known world hasn't heard of these inventions is because the information has been suppressed. This isn't a conspiracy theory, or exaggeration, this is reality. If people learn there are alternatives to fossil fuels and destructive nuclear power they would want to use them. 

Allow me to give a few examples of the brilliant minds who have contributed to this re-emerging field of science. Adam Trombly (physicist, Inventor) who built a motor that pulls energy right out of the air generated by the magnetic flow of the earth. He was invited to give a presentation of his invention at the United Nations but before it happened his lab was raided and device confiscated.

Inventor John Bedini worked with Tesla's theories on radiant energy and invented battery charging devices, that supplied more power than an electric generator. He made an announcement to the media that he would sell the devices at low costs. Immediately afterwards he was attacked in his lab, research confiscated and warned not to sell the device. Out of fear for his life he abandoned the free energy field.

Inventor John Hutchinson used similar Tesla theories to create free energy batteries. He also successfully demonstrated those same theories could be applied to anti-gravity. His experiments demonstrating anti-gravity by making objects as large as a bowling ball float in the air can be watched on youtube. His lab was raided by government agencies and his research and equipment confiscated three times. First in 1978, then in 1989, and last in 2000.

One of the most brutal cases of suppression was inventor Eugene Mallove. He was an engineer for M.I.T and Harvard universities, also publisher of Infinite Energy Magazine. The magazine covered both theoretical and technological advancements in the free energy field. He was mysteriously beaten to death in 2004.

The list goes on and on. These devices would provide clean, self-sustaining energy for every location on earth. Once that happens mankind could focus on matters like space exploration or providing clean water to remote countries. We could finally end famine, cure cancer, aids, diabetes and other diseases that plague society. So why is this information being so violently and brutally suppressed? The answer is simple...wealth and power.

Energy is a 300 trillion dollar business and if it was abundant that profit would come out of someones pocket. Fun fact, there are five companies, just five, that control 100% of what you see, buy, read, wear and learn in school. I'm not going to list which because that's not the focus of this post. This post is about sharing information and making more people aware that there are alternatives to fossil fuels.

I'm not asking that you sign a petition, talk to your congressman, rally or any other form of activism. What I am asking is that you open your mind to the possibility of a better world and watch part of the video below. The video is named "Thrive" and it discusses the free energy field in layman terms. The movie also talks about conspiracies and a lot of other information that some may consider irrelevant. 

So I want you to watch the first 41 minutes of the movie. Share that information with whoever is interested in improving life for the planet. Until we have an open dialog about free energy research being conducted by scientific minds world-wide, we will continue to live in a world of violence, scarcity and fear.

Big Bad Corn

I received an infographic from the good people at learnstuff.com that I thought was worth sharing. 

By now most people have heard of the evil named high fructose corn syrup (HFCS).  It's known as glucose-fructose in Canada and Europe. HFCS has been linked to obesity, disease, and an endless list of health problems.

What most people outside of the food industry don't know is that hybridized corn products have been added to the majority of foods they eat daily. Check out the information graphic with references below.

The Original Statue of Liberty Was Black

Very few people know the origins of the massive statue that stands in New York Harbor greeting travels from across the globe. The Statue of Liberty was a gift from the French to signify the end of slavery. There is evidence that supports claims she originally resembled a black slave with broken shackles on hands and feet. 

The artists Edouard Laboulaye and Auguste Bartholdi intended the statue to be a monument that would commemorate America’s commitment to liberty and equality established by the Declaration of Independence. You can view the original designs on display in the Museum of the City of New York. 

When the American government saw the designs they refused to have an African-American be a National Monument and sent them back. They preferred to have a monument that was European and made no references to slavery. Auguste Bartholdi redesigned the statue to resemble the face of his mother Charlotte Beysser Bartholdi. The only remnant of the original design is the chain (from the shackle) showing from under Lady Liberty’s dress. 

There’s also a rumor that the redesigned statues official title is Liberty Enlightening the World. Her construction was funded by the Masons and she is holding the Masonic Torch of Enlightenment, also known as the Flaming Torch of Reason. The same woman is used in the logo for Columbia Pictures.

There’s a large plaque bearing masonic symbols on the base of the statue.

Wiki Leaks

For those of you who haven't been following the news. Wikileaks and its founder Julian Assange have been under global attack. WikiLeaks is a non-profit media organization dedicated to bringing important news and information to the public. They provide an innovative, secure and anonymous way for independent sources around the world to leak information to journalists. 

They publish material of ethical, political and historical significance while keeping the identity of the sources anonymous, thus providing a universal way for revealing suppressed and censored social injustice.

WikiLeaks released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad -- including two Reuters news staff. Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. 

The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-sight, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.
